May 2017 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to congratulate the George Mason University Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) program and the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in the joint hosting of the Legal Colloquium on Regulatory Issues in Contemporary Land Law on May 16, 2017. The Colloquium is an academic forum jointly organized by faculty of both schools to bring together researchers from universities in the Washington, D.C. area and the United Kingdom for a full-day discussion of on-going work and perspectives on the impacts of law and regulation on land use, real estate development, and property rights. Brian M. Grindall participated in his capacity as a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the George Mason University MRED program.
April 2017 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to announce that Amafhh Holdings, L.L.C. acquired 177 Kentlands Boulevard, a mixed-use building in Gaithersburg, MD. Greg Ross represented the buyer in the deal and with respect to acquisition financing.
March 2017 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to announce that Amafhh Holdings, L.L.C acquired Manassas Junction Shopping Center, a grocery-anchored shopping center in Manassas, VA. Greg Ross represented the buyer in the deal and with respect to acquisition financing.
November 2016 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to congratulate the joint venture between Trammell Crow Company and Keane Enterprises, Inc. in the receipt of the NAIOP Build-to-Suit Non-Institutional Facility Award of Merit for the design and construction of tilt building for K2M’s New World Headquarters facility. The project consists of a 65,000 sf, 3-story office building and an 80,000 sf distribution and laboratory building connected by a walkway and gathering space. Brian M. Grindall represented the venture in acquisition, joint venture, leasing and financing matters.
November 2016 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to congratulate Perseus Realty in the closing on the acquisition and financing of Ballston Metro Center in Arlington, Virginia. The project consists of a 235,568-square foot office building located directly above the Ballston Metro Station. Brian M. August 2016 – Tenenbaum & Saas is proud to congratulate the joint venture among Akridge, Western Development Group, Orr Partners, Jefferson Apartment Group and Redbrick LMD in the closing on the acquisition and financing of the former US Coast Guard Headquarters located at Buzzards Point in Southwest Washington, D.C. The project contemplates plans converting the 609,265-square-foot Transpoint building at 2100 Second Street, SW into a mix of apartments and condos above roughly 80,000 square feet of retail space. Mark Tenenbaum and Brian Grindall represented the venture in acquisition, joint venture and financing matters.
