Maria T. Kitchens is of counsel at Tenenbaum & Saas, PC with extensive experience in transactional work involving commercial real estate acquisitions, lending and development.

Maria is originally from South Florida and after graduating from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, she began her practice as a commercial property litigator in Palm Beach County, Florida, concentrating her efforts on representation of developers, banks and other commercial clients in litigation matters involving bankruptcy, mechanic’s lien, collections, foreclosures and forfeitures.

Not long after relocating to the Mid-Atlantic region, she joined Tenenbaum & Saas, and has devoted her efforts to commercial real estate transactions representing commercial and residential real estate developers, lenders, and property owners in all aspects of their real estate transactions, including the organization of legal structures and joint ventures, the acquisition of land and developed commercial real property.  In her practice, she is instrumental in providing detailed analysis during the client’s due diligence review of prospective acquisitions and developments pertaining to title, survey, zoning, permitting and other government processes affecting the future development and intended uses of the property.

Even though her efforts emphasize transactional work, Maria also represents numerous landlords in the State with regards to Landlord & Tenant litigation matters.
