Mark S. Tenenbaum is a founding partner of Tenenbaum & Saas, P.C. Mark represents clients in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, most notably in the acquisition, financing, development, and leasing of undeveloped land for office, retail, industrial, technology and/or mixed uses. His practice also includes the formation of entities and the drafting and negotiation of partnership and LLC operating agreements, as well as a wide range of other commercial transactions.
Mark’s clients include large national development firms, smaller local development firms, institutional and individual property owners, and other businesses and individuals. He has negotiated a wide variety of commercial leases and agreements, construction and design contracts, and loan workout agreements. Mark has also documented and closed many different types of commercial real estate acquisitions, financings, and sales.
Prior to forming Tenenbaum & Saas in 1996, Mark was engaged in private practice as an associate and then a partner with the law firm of Sherman, Meehan & Curtin in Washington, D.C. He also served as general counsel to Trammell Crow Company in the Northeast region.
Mark graduated with his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center and is the author of “Commercial Tenant’s Leasing Transaction Guide-Forms and Strategies.”
